In a highly anticipated rematch, the Dallas Cowboys avenged their earlier loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with a resounding 33-13 victory at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night. The Cowboys, fueled by the memory of their 28-23 defeat in Week 9 at Lincoln Financial Field, showcased a dominant performance that has rejuvenated their campaign.

About Cowboys Dominate Eagles in NFC East Clash

The first half saw the Cowboys surging to a commanding 24-6 lead. Quarterback Dak Prescott orchestrated an impressive display, amassing 168 total yards and delivering two touchdowns. Prescott connected with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup in the end zone, while the Cowboys’ defense limited the Eagles to a mere two field goals.

Kicker Brandon Aubrey maintained his flawless season record, adding to the spectacle with a remarkable 60-yard field goal in the first half. Not stopping there, Aubrey further showcased his prowess with a 59-yard kick in the second half, solidifying his status as the first kicker in league history to achieve two field goals of 59 yards or longer in a single game.

Philadelphia managed to find the end zone in the second half following Prescott’s fumble, which Jalen Carter capitalized on, returning it for a 42-yard touchdown. However, the Eagles’ offensive struggles persisted, with three fumbles contributing to their downfall. The Cowboys, maintaining their composure, secured their lead in the second half, ultimately claiming a convincing 20-point victory.

Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts went 18-of-27 for 197 yards, while D’Andre Swift logged 39 rushing yards on 11 carries, and A.J. Brown contributed 94 receiving yards on nine receptions.

Prescott, steering the Cowboys to success, completed 24-of-39 passes for 271 yards, registering two crucial touchdowns. Tony Pollard added 59 rushing yards on 16 carries, and tight end Jake Ferguson contributed 72 receiving yards on five receptions.

Despite the Eagles having a favorable position in the NFC East as the season progresses, and the Cowboys facing a more challenging remaining schedule, Dallas has emphatically demonstrated its ability to compete with the top teams in the NFC.
