In late 2023, a WWE star referred to Taylor Swift as a “6” and issued a challenge to Travis Kelce, yet Kelce has not responded.

During a WWE event in October, wrestler Grayson Waller stirred controversy by commenting, “I’m not the kind of guy that would settle for a six, but to each their own. Me personally, I like a nine or a ten,” sparking backlash. Waller capitalized on the attention by further insulting Swift’s fans and challenging Kelce to a confrontation, suggesting a potential appearance at WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

Despite the buzz, neither Kelce nor Taylor Swift has addressed the challenge. However, with Kelce’s NFL season ending after the Super Bowl, speculation is rife about his potential involvement in WWE.

Notably, NFL stars and A-list celebrities have a history of participating in major wrestling events:

  • 1986: William “Refrigerator” Perry and other NFL stars appeared at WrestleMania 2.
  • 1995: NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor headlined WrestleMania 11.
  • 1998: NBA star Dennis Rodman made a WCW Nitro appearance during the NBA Finals.
  • 2020: NFL Star Rob Gronkowski competed at WrestleMania 36.
  • 2007: Former President Donald Trump participated in WrestleMania 23.

Travis Kelce, known for his love of pro wrestling, has expressed enthusiasm for the sport, recounting childhood incidents involving wrestling moves and recently sporting a replica WWE belt.

As speculation mounts, wrestling fans eagerly await whether Kelce will accept Waller’s challenge, potentially marking another crossover between sports and entertainment.
