AEW RAMPAGE AND COLLISION VS. WWE SURVIVOR SERIES: RANDY ORTON TO HEADLINE SATURDAY SHOWDOWN

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is gearing up for an intense battle RANDY ORTON against WWE on Saturday, November 25, as they vie for supremacy in the viewership arena.

AEW’s Strategic Move

Under the direction of Fulham’s operations head, Tony Khan, AEW has strategically decided to alter the typical schedule of AEW Rampage. Traditionally airing every Friday at 10 pm Eastern Time (3 AM GMT), Rampage occasionally shifts its timing.

Another AEW spectacle, Collision, typically unfolds every Saturday night at 8 PM Eastern Time (1 AM GMT). However, this weekend, Rampage will deviate from its usual Friday slot, commencing at 7 PM Eastern Time (12 AM GMT) on Saturday, directly preceding Collision.

Clash with WWE Survivor Series

This scheduling adjustment puts AEW in direct competition with WWE’s Survivor Series, an event that consistently unfolds during Thanksgiving week. The Survivor Series kicks off with a one-hour pre-show at 7 PM Eastern Time (12 AM GMT), followed by the main action an hour later, overlapping with both AEW events.

This reshuffling follows Collision’s move to Friday last week, resulting in a clash with WWE SmackDown. The simultaneous occurrence was triggered by AEW’s Full Gear event taking place on Saturday. However, Collision’s relocation to Friday led to a notable dip in viewership, drawing only 270,000 viewers compared to SmackDown’s 2.2 million—merely 12.3 percent of their competitor’s total audience.

Randy Orton’s Grand Return

Adding complexity to the Rampage vs. Survivor Series battle is the return of Randy Orton, headlining the WWE event for the first time since May 2022. The star-studded WWE lineup also includes Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

While Rampage is yet to disclose its match lineup, Collision promises thrilling clashes featuring Eddie Kingston against Brody King and Daniel Garcia facing off against Claudio Castagnoli. The anticipation for these showdowns heightens the competition between AEW’s Rampage and WWE’s Survivor Series on this Saturday night spectacle.
